Bill Farrell is one of the founders of Longford Capital and is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and monitoring investments and serves on Longford Capital’s Investment Committee and Board of Managers. Farrell is an experienced trial lawyer with more than 20 years of litigation and trial experience as both a government prosecutor and as a partner in the commercial litigation departments of two law firms, Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP and Gardner, Carton & Douglas LLP (n/k/a Drinker, Biddle & Reath LLP). Prior to entering private practice, Farrell served as a prosecutor in the Criminal Prosecutions Bureau of the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. As a government prosecutor, Farrell served as the lead attorney in numerous trials and represented the State of Illinois in several cases before the Illinois Appellate Court.
