Steven M. Geiszler

Steven Geiszler is U.S. Chief Intellectual Property Litigation Counsel for Huawei, one of the world’s largest technology companies. Before joining Huawei, Geiszler practiced patent litigation for 15 years at international law firms in Dallas, handling complex patent litigation in venues including the Eastern District of Texas, District of Delaware, Northern District of California, and U.S. International Trade Commission. Geiszler received recognition from Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America, and Texas Super Lawyers and provided commentary in publications such as Corporate Counsel and Texas Lawyer.

Drawing on his science background, including three years as a biomedical researcher, Geiszler is a proponent of data analytics in the legal profession. He also is interested in reducing procedural inefficiencies so that parties may more quickly and accurately value disputes based on merits instead of litigation costs.

Geiszler frequently travels (domestically and internationally) for work but, when home, spends most of his time with his wife and two young sons. This routine has led him to become an aficionado of Masha and the Bear, Pocoyo, and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.
